About
Broadway Arts Studio offers classes in dance, acting, voice, and musical theatre, including styles such as hip hop, pom, ballet, jazz, musical theatre jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, acro, acrobatics, and gymnastics. Students can take acting classes such as Acting Fundamentals, Acting 1, Acting 2, Acting 3, Acting Improv, Acting Sketch Comedy, Acting Monologues, and Shakespeare, as well as vocal classes including Vocal Performance 1–4 and voice private lessons. The program also includes Creative Playhouse, Broadway Playhouse Jr., Broadway Playhouse, multiple levels of Musical Theatre Lab, college pre-screens, coaching for commercial and TV work, and coaching for Orange County School of the Arts submissions.

The Musical Theatre Conservatory, Broadway Dance Company, and Broadway Youth Theatre all serve ages 7–18, and Camp Broadway OC offers summer camps and musicals for ages 4–18. The program produces 4–6 musicals a year for ages 7–18 and holds 2 recitals a year for dance programs. Broadway Dance Company is described as an award-winning and nationally awarded competitive dance team that trains in jazz, lyrical, hip hop, pom, and more, and performs at regional and national events from Disneyland to Las Vegas.
The founders of Broadway Arts Studio are the husband and wife team of Darcie Roberts Magino and Troy Magino, who collectively bring over 60 years of knowledge and experience working with well-known talents in the industry. The mission of Broadway Arts Studio is to provide students of all levels with more than just an opportunity to perform and to provide a unique experience in which the student can grow mentally and physically as a performer. The staff includes highly trained and certified instructors with extensive experience teaching, creating, directing, choreographing, and performing in dozens of Broadway musicals, Broadway tours, TV, commercials, universities, and theatres worldwide. Broadway Arts Studio serves families from Lake Forest, Irvine, Foothill Ranch, Aliso Viejo, Portola Springs, Portola Hills, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Mission Viejo.
Broadway Arts Studio features state-of-the-art studios with 8 spacious dance studios, 3 vocal rooms, quadruple sprung floors, and an in-studio theatre. The facility includes a warm and welcoming lobby, plenty of seating, free coffee for parents, free Wi-Fi for students and parents, a snack bar, and easy drop-offs with ample parking.
