About
CampCo Day Camps is a youth program that is part of CampCo’s full-service recreation offerings, which include summer day camps, after school ASES Grant programs, physical education programs, and structured school recess activities. The program also includes a Teen Counselor-in-Training Program and the Las Palmas Piper Club Afterschool Program, and offers experiences that are normally available at a traditional sleepaway camp without overnight stays.
• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: Summer office hours are Mondays–Fridays, 10am–1pm, with calls forwarded to Managers at camp locations between 8am–6pm.
CampCo has been providing recreation services to South Orange County families since 1998 and has served thousands of families over the past 20+ years. The CEO, Sylvia Rosenthal, has worked in the field of Recreation since 1981 and has earned degrees in Recreation Administration and Business Administration. The mission for CampCo’s programs is to provide safe, fun opportunities that allow campers to try new challenges, overcome obstacles, develop new skills, grow throughout the season and from year to year, be silly, get dirty, show their creative side, meet new camp friends they look forward to seeing again, make memories to share with their own children one day, and, in summer day camps, enjoy experiences that are normally available at a traditional sleepaway camp without the worry and expense of sending a child away overnight. CampCo is a full-service recreation provider that offers high-quality, fun, safe and educational youth programs for HOAs, cities, schools and other organizations throughout South Orange County and has been featured on Best USA Summer Camps and Best California Day Camps.
