About the provider

The program began as a small grassroots operation offering group classes in Tustin. In 2019, the organization formally became SoCal Jazz Academy LLC, and in January 2025, Music Around merged with SoCal Jazz Academy. Its mission statement says it serves as a gateway for children and youth across Orange County, providing early exposure to a wide range of instruments, musical styles, and learning formats.

Complimentary trial lessons are offered as a courtesy and are limited to one trial per child/family. All trial bookings require written email confirmation within 24 hours of the proposed appointment time. If confirmation is not received, the trial lesson time is released. If a trial lesson is rescheduled more than twice, additional trial lessons may be declined. One-time non-refundable registration fee of $90 applies; additional sibling or returning student fee is $45. No makeups, refunds, or credits of any kind. 30-day written courtesy notice is required to terminate.
