Spectrum Dance Center Youth Dance Conservatory & Youth Program

Spectrum Dance Center Youth Dance Conservatory & Youth Program offers dance classes, events, and education for young dancers. The program is part of Spectrum Dance Center’s SDC Teen Company & Youth Program and includes a Youth Dance Conservatory year-around program. It is described as Orange County’s Preferred Dance Studio and includes a Professional Studies Program.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

The mission of SDC’s Youth Dance Conservatory is to prepare young students for futures as dancers, engaged citizens, audience members, and responsible young men and women. The program has a dedicated staff of instructors who instruct students with proper technique and great discipline in an encouraging and nurturing environment. The leadership and instructional team includes Owner / Artistic Director Janell Burgess, Student Success Advisor Carrie Woodson, Bursar & Lead Administrator Dani Albertina, and educators such as Nannette Brodie (Modern & Improvisation), Maria SiFuentes (Ballet, Pointe), Michel Gervais (Ballet, Pointe), Smita Alves (Khatak), Colleen May (Yoga, Creative Dance), Gary Sevani (Ballet, Pointe), Jeff Hendrix (Jazz – Luigi Technique), Marin Asano (Ballet & Pointe), Jesi Cris Bato (Hip Hop), Iris Z. Spector (Belly Dance, Afro Caribbean), Rachel “Fit” Moore (Moore Method Fitness & Nutrition), Ace (Hip Hop, Contemporary), Dimple Kaur (Bharatanatyam), and Devon Olinger (Country Western Line Dance & 2 Step).
