Lakewood Little Minds Preschool

Lakewood Little Minds Preschool offers art, music, dance, language in Spanish and Chinese, and STEM. It also includes structured learning through play, routine, guided social interaction, practical life activities, early literacy, and collaborative play. Children in the toddler program, primary program, and pre-K program take part in hands-on learning, early reading and math, and mixed-age classes.

Programs

• Toddler Program — 2-3 · Gentle introduction to structured learning through play, routine, and guided social interaction. Children begin developing independence, language skills, and confidence in a nurturing environment.
• Primary Program — 3-4 · Hands-on learning that builds focus, curiosity, and early academic foundations. Children engage in practical life activities, early literacy, and collaborative play.
• Pre-K Program — 4-5 · A balanced approach to kindergarten readiness through structured learning and exploration. Children strengthen problem-solving, communication, and early reading and math skills.
• Spanish Dual Language Program — Children are introduced to Spanish through songs, play, and daily interaction in a natural and engaging way. Waitlist only.

At a glance

• Ages: 2–6 years old
• General schedule: Full year programs. Five days: full day 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, half day 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, full day with daycare 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Three days: full day 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, full day with daycare 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Daycare programs: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Monday through Friday.

About the provider

Lakewood Little Minds Preschool is state licensed and staffed by fully qualified teachers. Its mission is to ensure that every child is seen, heard, and valued as a unique individual. Brightwheel is used for parent communication, morning and afternoon snacks are provided, and the teacher-to-student ratio is 12 to 1.

Potty training is provided. Full-time and part-time schedules are available and can be tailored to parent needs. Mixed age groups in all classes. Children receive art, music, dance, language (Spanish & Chinese), and STEM as part of the curriculum. For 2 year olds, focus is on social emotional learning to build trust and foundational learning.
