This ministry is part of a church community that has been marked by care and compassion for the past 30 years. The Kids Ministry states that it exists to help every child learn that following the words and actions of Jesus is worth it and that developing deep relationships with others is what they are created for. The Students Ministry states that it exists to help teenagers follow Jesus and courageously make a difference in their community. The Care Ministry states that it strives to be a source of hope, help, and healing, as an extension of Jesus in this world, and the church states that loving neighbors requires action such as serving those around them, fighting for justice, advocating for those unable to advocate for themselves, and putting others’ needs above their own. Leadership for these areas includes Becky Fitch (Area Pastor), John Orozco (Convergence Pastor), Ryan Bicker (Central Operations Lead / CF Kids Support), Erin McGrath (Outreach Pastor), Amy Sargent (Care Pastor), Chelsie Anderson (Students Pastor), Kaitlynn Newby (Kids Pastor), Kim Kennedy (Operations Pastor), and Victoria Langseth (Connections Pastor).
The church hosts a Spanish-language gathering (CF Español) at 11 AM on Sundays, and childcare is provided. Neighborhood Church gathers in homes throughout the East Bay on the second Sunday of every month, where all ages are welcome to eat, connect, pray, watch, and discuss the message together. The church states that every week, throughout the East Bay, the United States, and the world, hundreds of people who call Cornerstone Fellowship home give their time to serve. An eight-week discussion group is also offered that unpacks six values that encapsulate how followers of Jesus are called to live out the Gospel Lifestyle.
