Music Time offers music lessons that can include piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, voice, ukulele, trumpet, clarinet, sax, keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, upright bass, drum set, percussion, viola, cello, banjo, mandolin, flute, trombone, baritone, and tuba. The program also offers voice lessons, piano lessons, songwriting, music theory, music production, and introductory music lessons. Families can also rent a band or orchestra instrument through Music Time.
• Schedule: Administrative office hours are Monday–Friday from 2pm to 7:30pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, with lessons by appointment that may take place outside these hours.
• Price: Families can start with an introductory lesson for $25.
Music Time has been part of the Livermore community since 2002 and is described as Livermore’s own local destination for music lessons. The program has a team of more than 20 instructors and works with hundreds of students. One testimonial shared by the program is the quote, “music can change the world because it can change people.” — Bono, and another is, “I am so glad I never sang or played an instrument.” — Nobody.
