The Scholastic Clays Target Program is a youth development program where participants take part in clay target shooting. The program includes supervised shotgun shooting, rifle shooting, and pistol shooting, and it emphasizes safety and skill development in clay target shooting. Eye and ear protection is required for all shooters and spectators on the firearm ranges.
The program focuses on teaching sound shooting fundamentals and instilling a safe and responsible attitude towards firearms. NRA-certified instructors teach classes, and State-certified instructors offer Hunter Education classes. The club grounds connected with the program are available for rental to individuals or local organizations.
