About
Lodi Boys & Girls Club includes a daily Power Hour, when members focus on homework, reading, and educational worksheets or other activities related to success in school. After Power Hour, members have a short snack break and then choose from multiple age-appropriate structured programs that change from month to month. The last hour of the afternoon is set aside as free time for fun and relaxation while kids are being picked up by family members.
• Schedule: The first hour every afternoon is Power Hour, followed by a short snack break, then structured programs, with the last hour of the afternoon as free time.
The Lodi Boys & Girls Club has been serving youth since 1963. It is governed by a board of directors, and daily operations are led by Executive Director Roger Coover, with Program Director Margot Aguilar, Assistant Program Director Jennifer Hoover, and Office Manager Brittney Austin. The board of directors includes Chair Cathy Metcalf, Vice Chair Suzanne Ledbetter, Treasurer Lupe Munoz, Secretary Danielle Spinella, and directors Blake Burnham, Karen Chandler, Rachel Crusenberry, Steve Ding, Claire Forsythe, Barron Goldberg, Shereen Hays, Kerry Heckman, Dr. Elizabeth Johnson, Annie Patterson, Cinthya Oseguera, Andrea Pemberton, Sherri Schenone, and Adriana Vega. The mission of the Lodi Boys & Girls Club is to enable and inspire all young people, especially those who need the club most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
