Steppin’ Out Educational Concerts / It’s About Time all-ages symphonic experience offers an all-ages symphonic experience built around a spirited concert program. The event includes an Instrument Petting Zoo and features music such as Smith/Key: National Anthem, Strauss II: Thunder and Lightning Polka, Bizet: Danse bohème from Carmen, Prokofiev: March from Love of Three Oranges, Shifrin: Theme from Mission Impossible, Tchaikovsky: Tarantella Finale from Capriccio Italien, Brubeck: Unsquare Dance, Wagner: Ride of the Valkyries, and Jim Papoulis: Oye!. The program is drawn from the Stockton Symphony’s Steppin’ Out Educational Concerts and is reimagined as a public performance for all ages that is engaging, accessible, and full of energy, with rhythm, pulse, and can’t-sit-still momentum that appeals to adults and younger listeners alike.
