Since 2002, One-Eighty Programs has operated its original teen center facility and programming and describes itself as having 23 years of commitment to teens and families. The organization later added the Dan Brown House for intense outpatient services and counseling and a counseling center, and it runs a Mobile Unit at the Lodi Skatepark every Thursday. One-Eighty Programs states that it is dedicated to the restoration of its city through one-eighty degree turns toward teens and families thriving physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and describes itself as providing a place of hope and refuge and a refuge for students.
Leadership and staff mentioned by the program include Executive Director Brad VanderHamm, Program Director Jake McGregor (who later becomes Executive Director) and his wife Alison (Aly) McGregor, Chairman of the Board Captain Tony Morefield, youth pastor Glen Barnes, and professional counselor and longtime local youth pastor and mentor Dan Brown. The program reports evidence-based resiliency programming and mental health intervention at over a dozen high, middle, and elementary schools in Lodi, Stockton, and Galt, and an “Intentional Neighbors” model in which staff live and work in underserved communities, provide tutoring programs for at-risk students, invest in community development, and work to activate assets in diverse neighborhoods. One-Eighty Programs also notes a partnership with the Lodi Police Department in response to a spike in gang-related crime and mentions staff visiting a partner site in El Salvador during Spring Break 2026. A teen named Alex is quoted as saying that coming to the program and talking with staff and others who came to “the 180” turned them away from going down the wrong path and toward success and living a good life.
