Belmont Shore Children's Center

Belmont Shore Children's Center offers play-based learning and routine through its Guppies, Penguins, Seahorse, and Dolphins programs. Activities include social-emotional development, language skills, independence, problem-solving, cause and effect, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cooperative play, early math skills, patterning, counting, and kindergarten readiness work in language, literacy, math, social, emotional, and academic preparation.

Programs

• Guppies — 18 months to 36 months · Play-based learning and routine; encouraged to become curious, independent, and develop a sense of security.
• Penguins — 2-3 years · Play-based learning; focuses on social-emotional development, language skills, independence, problem-solving, cause and effect, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and cooperative play.
• Seahorse — 3-4 years · Builds foundational skills, confidence, sense of community, attention spans, early math skills, patterning, and counting.
• Dolphins — 4-5 years · Kindergarten readiness; supports language, literacy, math, social, emotional, and academic preparation.

• Facility hours: 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

About the provider

The center's mission is to provide each child with a variety of experiences and opportunities to learn, create, and discover. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and participate in their child’s school experience.
