The Jiu Jitsu League

The Jiu Jitsu League offers training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, and Self-Defense. The program includes adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes and kids classes, as well as private lessons. Families can try a first class for free.

The Jiu Jitsu League was established in 2009. The program is led by Professor Kevin Howell. Its mission statement describes it as a home for quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, and Self-Defense, with a focus on high-quality instruction and training in Long Beach. It has been described as the premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy in Long Beach, CA, and as the “#1 Most Recommended Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Long Beach.”
