Brain and Body Autism Center Programs

Brain and Body Autism Center Programs includes the Summer Camp for Neurodivergent Children, the Early Intervention Program, and the Afterschool Program. The summer camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:30 am-12 pm and 2 pm-5 pm, and the camp notes say each autistic child is paired with a buddy. The camp is open to typical children, including siblings, as well.

Priya James, MS, CCC-SLP, is the Director of BBAC. The center lists 22 years of experience working with special needs children and families. Its mission statement says Brain and Body Autism Center uses the Brain-Body Dynamics Model (BBDM), described as a cohesive, evidence-based framework designed to foster holistic development in children on the autism spectrum. Priya James is also listed as a co-author of ten step-by-step intervention manuals for children with developmental delays.

Morning program is for kids between ages 2-6 and afternoon program is for kids between ages 6-9. Each autistic child will be paired with a buddy. Superbills are provided for Speech and OT; invoices are provided for the rest of the socio-recreational activities and the academic program is separately billed. The camp is open to typical children (or siblings) as well.
