Sanyu Learning Center

Sanyu Learning Center offers a Montessori Preschool for children ages 2 to 6 years old, including toddler, preschool, and TK. The preschool sample schedule includes arrival and free choice, playground time, morning circle, story and songs, lunch, silent reading, nap or rest, snack, and Mandarin and dismissal. It also offers Chinese School and Chinese Afterschool Programs for grades K through 6, as well as summer camps.

About the provider

Sanyu Learning Center has been established since 1996 and has nearly three decades of experience. It is a California nonprofit preschool and afterschool program, and its credentials include an established preschool, an established Chinese school, a Montessori preschool, and a bilingual Heritage Chinese school. Its mission is to nurture children’s growth in mind, body, and character by combining academic excellence, ethical development, and cultural appreciation.

Montessori curriculum emphasizes independence, hands-on activities, language development, cultural exploration, and social-emotional growth. The plus program integrates music and multi-language exposure. Preschool potty training is guided with positive routines and gentle support. Low teacher-to-student ratios. Families can choose half-day, full-day, or extended-day schedules. Children develop early communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Spanish. Programs include winter, spring, and summer camps.
