The Children’s Center Preschool

The Children’s Center Preschool offers a play-based preschool program that includes both structured and unstructured time. The program uses hands-on experiences and opportunities for practice in a carefully prepared environment that is guided by principles of love and respect. The preschool follows a developmentally appropriate program that emphasizes independence, self-regulation, and resilience through play.

• Ages: 2–5 years old
• Schedule: Weekday program from the end of August through early June, with an optional two-week Summer Camp in June for currently enrolled students

At The Children’s Center Preschool, the mission states that the program focuses on nurturing the whole child in social, emotional, physical, and academic areas through learning via play. The preschool is connected with a Christian environment that encourages love, respect, and community. Families have access to a Family Resource Center that offers informative speaker events and a book lending library, as well as educational assemblies throughout the year. Staff and the Director are available for support, conversations, and conferences, and parents have opportunities to visit the classrooms one family at a time. In-person tours and a video tour are available for families interested in the program.
