The camp also uses a seasonal outdoor pool, multipurpose sports field, lighted outdoor basketball courts, and a campfire ring.

Griffith Park Boys' Camp has been part of the City of Los Angeles’ Department of Recreation and Parks Camping Section since 1924 and has more than 87 years of history helping give boys, through the experiences of nature, a foundation for future greatness. The facility includes 12 bungalow-style cabins that each sleep 10 people with air conditioning and heating, four bathroom and shower bungalows with hot and cold running water year-round, and a restroom and shower building. The main lodge and dining hall has a wood-burning fireplace, a full-service kitchen, and a dining hall with a capacity of 197. The camp offers traditional family-based camp weekends, Boys Break Weekends, and rental opportunities. Griffith Park Boys' Camp is a fully accredited member of the American Camp Association. The leadership team includes Camp Director Sherri “Elmo” Lindsay, Program Director Marci “Poppy” Berumen, Camp Head Cook Justin Castro, and Office Manager Emma Escandon.
