The Young Actor’s Studio is an acting school that offers acting classes, workshops, and productions. The program includes classes where students learn to create a unique, original character that is truly their own. Acting classes are centered around encouraging and praising each student for who they are and merging this into their work. The Young Actor’s Studio offers acting classes for kids, teens, and young adults.

The Young Actor’s Studio was founded in 1996 and has been established since 1996. The school was created as a supportive and nurturing environment for young actors to develop their craft and is dedicated to developing the young actor’s craft through classes, workshops, and productions. The program describes its approach as “Stage to Screen: Real Acting Training.”

The founder and current artistic director is Jeff Alan-Lee. Jeff Alan-Lee taught and directed at various private and public schools and youth shelters, as well as teaching and directing at The Lee Strasberg Institute in both New York and Los Angeles.

Academy Award–winning actress Helen Hunt wrote about Jeff Alan-Lee’s book “A Young Actor Prepares,” stating that it uses established acting methods to work with young actors from the inside out and focuses on creative self-expression and the creation of characters that can entertain and offer audiences a mirror and fellowship.
