Colburn Community School – Music, Drama & Dance Classes for Kids and Youth & Adult Dance Programs offers music training that includes bands, chamber music, children’s, youth, and concert choirs, conducting, composition, Dalcroze, drama, early childhood ensembles, jazz, musical theatre, music theory, and orchestras. Students can study piano, strings, Suzuki, voice, and woodwinds, brass, and percussion, including specific instruments such as bassoon, cello, clarinet, double bass, flute and piccolo, guitar, harp, horn, oboe, percussion, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, tuba, viola, and violin. The program also offers ballet, modern dance, tap dance, adult dance classes, summer dance camps, and summer music camps.

The program includes music training for all ages and levels, advanced instruction for pre-collegiate musicians ages 14–18, and rigorous ballet training for ages 14–19 committed to a dance career. It offers ballet, modern, tap, and other dance options for dancers of all skill levels, as well as a NEW Advanced Music Performance Program. Additional options include Adaptive Music, Early Childhood programs for ages 7 months–4 years old, and Continuing Education for Adults. Colburn Community School is involved with programs and initiatives such as the Primrose International Viola Competition, TeenTix Los Angeles, Piano Technology, the Center for Innovation and Community Impact, Musical Encounter Interactive, and Music Restored: The Ziering-Conlon Center for Exiled and Suppressed Composers.
