The National College Resources Foundation (NCRF) Student Athlete Program (SAP) has helped more than 1500 student athletes secure athletic scholarships, with over 500 basketball scholarship offers made to student athletes and over 700 scholarship offers made to players. The program offers HBCU Football Combine Drill Times and opportunities to show skills to HBCU coaches on April 25–26, 2025 for an opportunity to play at the next level, described as an exclusive opportunity to get recruited. NCRF’s College Coaches Online service includes a database of 25,000 current head coaches at NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA schools, and junior colleges, allowing searches for coaches’ names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses, and searches for colleges by location, size, tuition cost, sport, division, and academics such as grades, class rank, and SAT/ACT. NCRF hosted its 1st Annual Track & Field Invitational on December 9, 2023, as a USATF sanctioned event where high school students from around Southern California gathered to show their talents leading into the 2024 track and field season.
The Student Athlete Program is part of the National College Resources Foundation, which began its service to underserved and underrepresented students in 1999. NCRF’s mission is to curtail the high school dropout rate and increase degree and/or certificate enrollment among underserved, underrepresented, at risk, low resource, homeless, and foster students. National College Resources Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational enhancement organization. The leadership team includes Founder/CEO Dr. Theresa Price, along with Veronica Kummerfeldt, Chenita Edwards, Kysa Washington, and Derek Speight. NCRF also partners with Cal States and UCs to build liquid rocket laboratories and increase diversity in STEM fields.
