Joey Escobar's Zuma Dojo offers Karate, Boxing, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, and self defense, including dedicated Karate, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, and Kickboxing classes. The program also provides personal training and general martial arts training, along with self defense classes for different experience levels. Classes are available for beginners and advanced fighters, and the dojo offers Karate for kids from age 3 and up, youth Karate and Kickboxing programs, and adult Karate, MMA, Kickboxing, and Boxing.

The program’s leadership team includes owner Joey Escobar and instructors Jessa Williams, Everette Plen, Wiley Murphree, and Kathy Escobar. Students learn from certified martial artists with years of experience. Joey Escobar opened his first studio in the 1980s and trained under Chuck Norris. His credentials include 9th degree black belt, International Grand Champion, Battle of Atlanta Grand Champion, World Pro Am Champion, 5-time American National Champion, 2-time Hawaiian Grand Champion, 13-time International Champion, 4-time Pan American Champion, Canadian American Champion, and service as a team member and team captain of the US Karate Team. The stated goal of the program is to make a positive impact in the lives of students by sharing the importance of discipline, respect, and integrity in their everyday lives.
