Malibu Pacific Kids Preschool includes worship music created to excite kids to sing and dance together, a Bible story introduced by Ollie the Owl, and small group time. Children take part in activities and crafts that reinforce the Bible story, and families can also access online preschool program episodes such as Kingdom Quest and Hats Off, along with online elementary program episodes such as Kingdom Quest, Trek, and Block Party.

Malibu Pacific Kids Preschool is part of Malibu Pacific Kids, which states three basic truths for preschoolers: God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever. The curriculum combines child development and theology and mirrors the elementary program with an age-appropriate twist, using Ollie the Owl in preschool large group time and Story Lab in elementary large group time. Malibu Pacific Kids is led by Children’s Director Kelli VomSteeg and Preschool Director Cindy Ludwig and states that its mission is to influence the faith and future of children and to partner with parents so kids grow up making wiser choices, building stronger relationships, and developing a deeper faith. Testimonials from parents and attendees describe Malibu Pacific Church as a community where families thrive, a place where people feel at home with a church that loves them without judgment, and, in one person’s words, “the most non-religious church of Jesus followers” they could imagine finding. Malibu Pacific Church donates funds to Malibu’s elementary schools, including $5,000 each to Webster Elementary and Malibu Elementary raised by congregants in 30 seconds during Nov. 3 services, and makes a yearly financial commitment of 11% of its general fund to long- and short-term missionaries and other mission partners and organizations.
