Kirk House Preschool

Kirk House Preschool includes stories, songs, faith circle times, holiday celebrations, and free choice play time. Children take part in hands-on learning activities, play, and exploration in several spaces such as an art room, block room, music room, and an outdoor playground, with these areas filled with engaging activities each day.

Kirk House Preschool’s mission is to provide a hands-on learning environment for children 2 (by 9/1/26) to 5 years old, with the teachings of Jesus Christ inter-woven into a development-oriented, play-based curriculum. Children are introduced to Christ's love and biblical concepts through stories, songs, faith circle times, and holiday celebrations, with a focus on ideas such as love, friendship, sharing, and forgiveness in ways young children can understand. The program offers free choice play time throughout the day and an engaging play-based curriculum that encourages self-paced exploration in the art room, block room, music room, and outdoor playground.

Kirk House Preschool is a state licensed, non-profit school and a ministry of Menlo Church, and it welcomes children and families of all faiths and denominations. The program has a low child-to-adult ratio. The leadership team includes Ruth Esteverena (Director, Monday–Friday) and Silvana Chang (Assistant Director and Teacher, Monday–Thursday).

Parent testimonials describe Kirk House Preschool as a place where children are known and loved, taught the love of Christ and how to show it to their friends, and very well-prepared for Kindergarten in Menlo Park schools.
