About

Saddleback College Community Education Youth Programs offers activities such as dance, painting and drawing, music, outdoor sports, art, and STEM. The program also includes academic enrichment and Before & After-School Enrichment (BASE) classes. Additional Community Education classes include topics such as managing investments, loan signing, and notary public training.

• Schedule: Before and After-School Enrichment sessions during the 2025–2026 school year, plus a College For Kids summer program with full-day class options Monday through Thursday
• Price: The cost for each HiSET subtest is $26.75.

College For Kids has run on the Saddleback College campus for over 50 years. Students in College For Kids can develop their own individualized class schedules from a wide variety of options, and in Summer 2026 they can enroll in a full day of classes including before care, supervised Lunch Bunch, and after care. Lunch Bunch is free lunchtime supervision for full-day campers and those registered in morning Block 2 or afternoon Block 3, and lunch is not provided.

The College For Kids Summer 2026 program runs June 15, 2026, through July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Before and After-School Enrichment 2025–2026 sessions run in four sessions: Session 1 from September 2, 2025, to October 30, 2025; Session 2 from November 10, 2025, to January 22, 2025; Session 3 from January 26, 2026, to March 26, 2026; and Session 4 from March 30, 2026, to May 28, 2026. Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) classes are available to Capistrano Unified School District students.

The Community Education program complements the academic curriculum by offering short-term, fee-based classes that are not for college credit. Community Education classes for children and adults are short-term, fee-based classes that are not for college credit, and the Community Education program is self-supporting, receives no funds from Saddleback College or the State of California, and is separate from the academic offerings of the college.
