Mission Viejo Activities Committee Youth Group

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee Youth Group takes part in make and take craft projects, holiday games, a petting zoo, live band performances, and dance performances. Youth Group volunteers participate in all Mission Viejo Activities Committee events.

• Schedule: Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month.

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee is a non-profit, volunteer, civic organization made up of Mission Viejo residents and business owners. Any resident or business person within the city of Mission Viejo or the surrounding area is welcome to join and participate, and there are no dues or fees. In addition to adult volunteers, the organization includes this Youth Group, and it encourages parents to join and participate in all events with their children. The committee states that it has been giving back to the community since 1967 and promotes and carries out community service activities for the benefit of the citizens of Mission Viejo, CA.

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee notes that Santa Claus makes an entrance on a fire engine and, with help from the children, lights up the Mission Viejo holiday lights, and that there is a shuttle from the City Hall lot to North Paseo from 4pm till 7pm for Santa’s Arrival & Celebration. The leadership team for the committee includes Carol Manley and Judith Piazza. The committee has announced 2025 MVAC award recipients for outstanding service and 2026 MVAC Scholarship recipients: Gabriella Bello, Jaclynn Tang, Laia Owens, Noah Tanioka, and Simran Parekh.
