About
Creation Station is a week-long musical theater camp where students take part in musical theater and other performing arts activities. Each summer, Creation Station uses a new theme to guide how campers experience and learn about different aspects of the performing arts. The camp ends with a showcase performance for friends and family in the Foster Family Theater.
• Ages: 6–11 years old
• Schedule: Week-long musical theater camp; Arts Education Department office hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm
The program is part of the Gallo Center’s Arts Education offerings, with leadership from Maya Patten, Arts Education Programs Coordinator. Its stated mission is providing high quality, inspiring and accessible arts education experiences for local students. Alfred Matthews Buick GMC, active in the Modesto community since 1936, supports many community organizations and was a key contributor to the capital campaign that helped build the Gallo Center, and it supports the Creation Station summer camp as part of its focus on arts education.
