Modesto Judo Club offers classes in Judo, Nogi Judo Submission Grappling, and Self-Defense. The program also includes a focus on sportsmanship, physical fitness, and weight management. Classes are open to both adults and children starting at five years of age.

• Schedule: Class options are available Monday through Saturday in the late afternoon and evening, with some classes meeting once a week and others twice a week.
The Modesto Judo Club was founded in 2007 by Don Hunnell. It is a nationally certified USA JUDO school. The program offers a free trial class and a free week trial. The Modesto Judo Club is dedicated to serving the youth and adults of this community and states that it provides a safe and family friendly environment that contributes to the physical and overall development of each individual. Saturday Adult Judo/Nogi Submission Grappling classes for ages 17 and up are closed the last Saturday of each month.
