Adult-Youth Basketball (AYB) offers basketball league play, tournament play, skills clinics, and sports education for boys and girls. The program includes grade-based divisions and additional development opportunities focused on basketball skills.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
AYB (Adult-Youth Basketball), formerly All-Star Youth Basketball, was founded in 1997 and has served youth currently in 2nd through 8th grade for over 29 years. The program offers Fall and Spring leagues with grade divisions for 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, and 6th/7th/8th. Program goals include developing an understanding and appreciation of sports education, enhancing individual basketball skills, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect, recognizing each athlete’s individual contribution, and providing a competitive yet positive environment for league and tournament play. AYB provides a recreational basketball program for boys and girls in the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding communities and aims to build lasting bonds between players, parents, and coaches. The program also creates opportunities to connect with high school and college coaches, learn new techniques and skills, encourage player-parent mentorship, foster a strong sense of community, and have fun.
The leadership team includes Coach Felix Huerta, Coach Aeron Ureta, Coach Ben Yau, Coach Jeru Tillman, and Coach Sim Ling.
