About

Monrovia Youth Baseball League offers organized youth baseball that includes base stealing and pitchers learning pick off moves and how to hold runners on base. The program teaches lead offs and base stealing starting at age 9 in the Mustang Division, or earlier, and introduces competitive baseball starting at age 7. It uses a two-year age bracket system with scaled, age-appropriate diamonds and pitching distances that challenge kids at every age group and prepare them for high school baseball.

• Ages: 5–14 years old

Monrovia Youth Baseball League has been serving young athletes and their families since 1956 and celebrates its 70th anniversary. Its mission is to provide every child, regardless of skill level, experience, or financial circumstances, with the opportunity to participate in organized youth baseball in a safe, inclusive, and positive environment focused on fundamental skills, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and perseverance. The league is an affiliate of PONY Baseball (Protect Our Nation’s Youth) and is a registered non-profit organization. It is dedicated to serving hundreds of young athletes and their families in Monrovia, California, and the surrounding communities of the San Gabriel Valley, and has been recognized by MUSD and congratulated by the City of Monrovia.
