Swing N Country offers instruction in American social ballroom dances, including Foxtrot, Rumba, Waltz, Cha-cha-cha, and Salsa. The program also includes Swing in both East Coast and West Coast styles, as well as Nightclub, Western Two-step, Western Waltz, partner dance, and line dance.
John and Katie Watson, the owners of Swing N Country, are National Award winners in competitive Country Western dance. They have been teaching in Monrovia for over 30 years. They have won numerous awards and recognitions for their styles and teaching skills. The program is locally and family owned, and it is BMI music licensed. The Watsons have taught special classes and countless workshops, including benefits for Haven House and other social and philanthropic organizations, and they have performed at many community events such as the Monrovia All America City celebration on KGEM LIVE and at Chamber of Commerce and city events. The Silver champions of Monrovia are instructors in American social ballroom, West and East Coast Swing, and Western dances.
