Summer at Santa Catalina includes exploring new talents in class and going on adventures around Monterey Bay. Campers relax with friends on the beach, enjoy shops and cafes in Carmel, and go hiking on trails with incredible views. They can go kayaking, paddle boarding, and surfing in Monterey Bay, take day trips to San Francisco and San Jose, hit the links at 21 golf courses in Monterey County, study marine life in Monterey Bay, partner with scientists from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, visit and show artwork in local galleries, and hear from experts at the Naval Postgraduate School, the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and the Panetta Institute for Public Policy.

Summer at Santa Catalina is a girls age 7–14 sleepaway and day camp that is a day and resident camp in Monterey, California. The program is tech-free and uses camp teams called Checks and Stripes, with sisterhood built through friendly competition and shared adventures. Its mission states that Summer at Santa Catalina is dedicated to the mental, emotional, and spiritual growth of girls through experiential education, and notes that campers build independence, self-reliance, confidence, explore passions, and create lifelong friendships. Santa Catalina partners with scientists from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute and hears from experts at institutions such as the Naval Postgraduate School, Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and Panetta Institute for Public Policy. Architectural Digest named Catalina the most beautiful private high school in California.
