Day Camps Overview - Our themed day camps are packed with dancing, creativity, and fun! Each week features a unique theme, combining high-energy movement, imaginative activities, and engaging crafts in a supportive and exciting environment.

Full Day (6 1/2 hours): 9am-3:30pm - Please bring a lunch and snacks. Supervised lunch is included at no additional cost for full-day campers. No need to register for Lunch Bunch.

3 Hour AM or PM Camps: 9am-Noon or 12:30-3:30pm - pack a snack!

Optional Lunch Bunch: Noon-12:30pm

Age Groups: 5-7 and 8-11

  • Week 4 - 6/22-6/26 - Movies & Musicals Week: Lights, camera, dance! Step into the world of movies and musicals with fun choreography, creative activities, and performances inspired by the stage and screen.
  • Week 6 - 7/6-7/10 - Adventure Week: Get ready for an action-packed week of heroes, mysteries, and magical adventures! Dancers will explore exciting themes through movement, storytelling, and creative play.
  • Week 8 - 7/20-7/24 - Spirit Week: Bring the energy and show your spirit! Each day features fun themes, high-energy dancing, and creative expression inspired by classic spirit week favorites. (Mopey Monday - PJ Day, Tropical Tuesday - Beach Wear, Western Wednesday - Western Wear, Throwback Thursday - 70s/80s/90s, Friday Funday - Crazy Hair and Outfits)
  • Week 9 - 7/27-7/31 - Land of Make Believe Week: Enter a world of imagination and wonder! Inspired by magical stories and characters, this camp blends creative movement, art, and storytelling for an unforgettable experience.
  • Week 10 - 8/3-8/7 - Destination Week: Travel the world through dance! Each day explores a new destination with themed activities, fun choreography, and creative crafts.

Joy in Motion is a non-profit dance organization expanding access to the art form of dance through education and entertainment. We encourage everyone to fuse dance into their lives, modeling dance as a celebration of life that can be shared by all.
