About

Lamorinda Soccer Club offers youth development programs that include elite academy tiers, tryouts, and open training. The club provides training 3–4 days per week for U13–U19 boys in MLS NEXT and MLS NEXT 2 / X2, and 3–4 days per week for U13–U19 girls in Girls Academy. It also offers training for U9–U12 boys and girls in Pre-MLS NEXT, Pre-GA, and Competitive programs, as well as Competitive and Grassroots recreational training for U5–U8 boys and girls.

Lamorinda Soccer Club states that player development is the priority and excellence is the standard. The club identifies itself as the region’s leader in player development and reports a proven track record of producing more college recruits and National Team players than anyone else in the area. It prioritizes technical, tactical, mental, and physical player development, and states that the game belongs to the children who play it, that players should think for themselves to solve soccer situations, and that it believes in long-term growth over short-term gains. The organization describes its legacy as being in its alumni leading on the field and in the classroom at respected institutions and competitive programs nationwide.

Lamorinda Soccer Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and contributions to the club are tax-deductible to the full extent the law allows. The club notes that support from sponsors can help young players develop their skills and reach their full potential. Its stated commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion focuses on creating opportunities for underrepresented populations and fighting systemic inequalities through soccer, in partnership with players, parents, partners, and the communities it works with.
