• Ages: 8–18 years old

Lamorinda Water Polo Club was founded in 1999 in the East Bay Area. Its programs range from options for aspiring young players learning the basics to options for seasoned veterans aiming for collegiate level competition. The club’s stated mission is to provide a variety of programs tailored to athletes who want to excel in water polo, with a focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Splashball program uses pool noodles to aid in swimming, the FUNdamentals program is the next step up from Splashball and geared towards the 8–10 age group, and the Competitive Teams program offers four age groups for both boys and girls: 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U.

The leadership team includes Dave Cherry (President), Brian Gaffney (Vice President), Chris Tucker (Development), Beth Kring (Secretary & Apparel), Beth Cleveland (Member at Large), Eva Elder (Head AGC), and Paul Haast (Treasurer).
