Valley Surf Soccer Tournaments offers youth soccer tournaments that include the Surf Summer Showcase, Valley Surf Friendship Cup, Surf Champions Cup, and Copa Surf. Teams play 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 soccer across these events, with each team guaranteed 3 games in the Surf Summer Showcase, Surf Friendship Cup, Surf Champions Cup, and Copa Surf. The tournaments proudly bring together hundreds of teams and host tens of thousands of visitors annually.

The Surf Friendship Cup includes final and consolation games in divisions of 7 teams or more, individual medals to 1st to 3rd place teams in divisions of 7 teams or more, and team trophies to 1st place teams in all divisions. The Surf Champions Cup provides medals for 1st and 2nd place teams in championship matches and trophies for 1st place teams in championship matches, and Copa Surf also awards a trophy for 1st place teams. Tents are provided for each team at the Surf Friendship Cup and Copa Surf, and tents and benches are provided for each team at the Surf Champions Cup. The tournaments use no-hassle online check-in before the tournament starts and are described as extremely responsive to teams’ scheduling needs based on travel distance and coaching conflicts. Copa Surf 2026 “Best of NorCal” bracket champions gain automatic acceptance to Surf Cup International in Salou, Spain.
Valley Surf is part of Surf Nation, described as the most recognized youth soccer network in the country, and this partnership brings together the Valley’s top youth clubs, specifically Central Valley Surf. The program provides a player development pathway from grassroots through Surf Select, a national identification program. Central Valley Surf has won multiple State Cup Championships and two national titles and has promoted hundreds of players to college. Valley Surf is an ECNL Member, ECNL RL Member, NorCal Premier Member, CalNorth Member, and a proud member of Surf Nation. The stated mission is to create the “Best of the Best” experiences and opportunities for youth soccer players through its club, events, and facilities while providing staff the tools so they can focus on coaching and helping their players achieve their dreams. The organization states that for over two decades, and also for 15+ years, it has had the goal of putting together a team that can transform how players are developed in its community. Leadership includes Benjamin Gonzalez as Valley Surf Founder and President and Brian Enge as CEO of Surf Sports.
