The Academy of Palo Alto Performing Arts offers Chinese Dance Regular Class Program & Performance & Ballet Basic Training, Ballet Dance Regular Class Program & Performance & Ballet Basic Training, Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, Body Rhyme Combinations, Basic Training and Chinese Classical Dance, and Stretching and flexibility training. The Chinese dance program integrates Chinese dance training, ballet-based foundational technique, and repertoire development. The ballet program is based on the Vaganova ballet training system and includes repertoire training and annual production performance.

• Ages: 0–18 years old

About the provider

The Academy of Palo Alto Performing Arts was founded in 2018 in California. APAPA-USA students have earned awards at YAGP (Youth America Grand Prix), UBC (Universal Ballet Competition), ICON Dance Competition, Showstopper, and KAR (Kids America Revue). The school says it welcomes students of all backgrounds to explore their artistic potential and that it aims to cultivate confidence, creativity, and appreciation for the performing arts.
