Fantasy Dance School offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, character dance, lyrical, folk, ballroom, tap, children’s choreography, and pointe. The program also includes tumbling, TNT (Tumbling and Trampoline) classes, artistic gymnastics, acrobatics, art and art classes, preschool and pre-K morning classes, an after-school program and Afterschool Enrichment Program, a Special Needs Program, dance intensive programs, birthday parties, holiday day camps, week-long camps, overnight camps and overnight summer camp, and specialized workshops and intensives.

Fantasy Dance School was founded in 2002 by ballet master and choreographer Alla Kegulskiy. Its history includes opening its first permanent home in 2005, adding a second dance studio in 2009, introducing its first overnight summer camp in 2007, opening a second location in Los Gatos in 2014, and merging its Mountain View and Los Gatos locations into a 10,000-square-foot educational and performing arts facility in 2019. In 2020, the school began online video lessons on March 19, started virtual classes via Zoom on March 23, and resumed in-person classes with outdoor studios on September 21.
The facility includes four fully equipped dance studios, a spacious gymnastics gym (FDS Gymnastics), multiple classrooms for arts and educational enrichment, an art classroom, a kitchen, and a full-functioning gymnastics and tumbling gymnasium. Gymnastics classes are coached by USAG safety-certified professionals, and the staff is described as expert, multilingual, and professional, with instructors who speak English, Spanish, Romanian, Hebrew, and Russian.
Fantasy Dance School states that it offers a supportive and nurturing environment where kids can explore a variety of dance forms, gymnastics, art, and more, and that its classes provide opportunities for children to express themselves, build lifelong friendships, and grow their confidence. Students participate in annual performances and year-round performances ranging from community events to competitions, and they also take part in overnight and day camps, holiday celebrations, and events for students and their families. Fantasy Dance School offers an Afterschool Enrichment Program called “Rising Stars,” a Special Needs Enrichment Program with 30–45 minute dance, gymnastics, and art sessions, and programs that include dance, gymnastics, art, after-school enrichment, a pre-k enrichment program, and special needs programs under one roof.
Fantasy Dance School has received multiple awards recognizing excellence in dance, gymnastics, arts, afterschool programs, and community service.
