LA’s BEST Afterschool Program offers after school activities for children ages 4-12. The program also includes before school, summer, digital learning, art, BEST Fit, City Wide Events, and education offerings for children ages 4-12.

About the provider

LA’s BEST was launched in 1988. Its mission is to provide safe, enriching expanded learning experiences for children ages 4-12 in Los Angeles and to collaborate with families, school staff, and community partners so children have access to the resources they need to thrive. LA’s BEST also partners with corporations, local organizations, and volunteers through sponsorships, volunteer days, employee engagement events, in-kind donations, and support for special initiatives.

LA’s BEST is free for all families. The site states open enrollment year round. Eligibility is for students enrolled at an LAUSD elementary school with a participating LA’s BEST program. During the summer, students can enroll at a nearby LA’s BEST summer site if their regular school is not hosting a program.
