ARTS Youth Programs includes creative art and community design classes, visual and media arts education, internships, site visits to creative industries, guest speakers, structured programming, and integrated creative projects. The program includes Community ARTS classes, ARTS on Campus workshops and projects, ARTS @ Work internships and hands-on experience, and ARTS 4 Justice integrated creative projects.

ARTS Youth Programs is offered by A Reason To Survive (ARTS). The mission of ARTS is to lift young people in the South County region of San Diego to become confident, compassionate, and courageous community builders through the transformative power of creativity. The program is offered in partnership with the Juvenile Court and Community Schools district. ARTS Youth Programs provides arts education focused on design thinking, cultural equity, and healing-centered engagement to youth in South County, San Diego, including justice-impacted youth ages 14–19 through ARTS 4 Justice and young people ages 16–24 through ARTS @ Work. The organization’s stated vision is to create a center for arts and culture in the borderland region that empowers families and community members to build healthy, resilient, and equitable communities.
