Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center

Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center is a residential environmental science camp where students take part in creek ecology, forest ecology, geology, avian ecology, and native cultures activities. The program also includes sensory awareness experiences, survival skills, and team building activities. Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center also hosts weddings and other events.

• Schedule: Four and five day residential programs

Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center is part of Sutter County Superintendent of Schools district resources and school partnerships. The mission of Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center is to provide meaningful experiences that will create memories to last a lifetime. The leadership team includes Christopher Little, Director; Lynsey Brydon, Outdoor School Coordinator; and Satty Sangha, Administrative Assistant School Billing/Event Billing. Shady Creek Outdoor School has created the Eco-Kid Award, which includes a $100 prize for students who practice the Eco-Kid creed of working to help the environment.
