About
Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center is a residential environmental science camp where students take part in hands-on classes in creek ecology, forest ecology, geology, avian ecology, native cultures, sensory awareness, survival skills, and team building activities. All classes are designed to be hands-on experiences, and the curriculum for each class meets the 5th and 6th grade California State Science Standards. The program offers four and five day residential programs.

The mission of Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center is to provide meaningful experiences that will create memories to last a lifetime. The program maintains school partnerships and has created the Eco-Kid Award, which includes a $100 prize granted to students who practice the Eco-Kid creed of working to help the environment. Leadership for the program includes Christopher Little, Director; Lynsey Brydon, Outdoor School Coordinator; and Satty Sangha, Administrative Assistant School Billing/Event Billing.
