Brella Infant, Toddler, Preschool & Pre-K Programs offers daily, play-based experiences that include art, STEM, early reading and writing, language, music, movement, dramatic play, math, and music and movement. • Ages: 3 months–6 years old
• Schedule: Full-time, part-time, and on-demand scheduling available, with care offered for a full day or for a few hours.
• Price: Infant average price: 1–10 hours per month $30/hr; 11–60 hours per month $29.64–$26.67/hr; 61–100 hours per month $26.57–$24.40/hr; 101+ hours per month $24.32–$20.00/hr. Preschool average price: 1–10 hours per month $25/hr; 11–60 hours per month $24.55–$20.83/hr; 61–100 hours per month $20.79–$18.57/hr; 101+ hours per month $18.59–$14.00/hr.
Brella’s mission is to make high-quality child care flexible, simple, and easy to manage whenever families need it. The program offers flexible scheduling options with no long-term contracts, no extra fees and deposits, and no waitlists or contracts, and the first 10 hours cost the same for everyone while every incremental hour after the tenth lowers the average hourly cost. Families can schedule care at any Brella location within a network of care and manage schedules, profiles, and pick-ups through a mobile app. If families cancel hours within the cancellation window, they receive credit back. Meals, diapers, and extra help are covered.
Brella offers intentional learning experiences that nurture curiosity, confidence, and early skills through play, exploration, and guided activities, with programs that support every stage of early childhood from first milestones to kindergarten readiness. The program provides support for the whole family through regular events, parent education classes, resources, and opportunities to learn together, including a regular schedule of community events and programming such as parent-and-me experiences and expert-led classes on fertility, newborn care, parenting, and more. Brella is a California state licensed child care facility. Brella is described by families as a metaphorical village where families are supported.
