Newport Surf Camp

Newport Surf Camp offers summer camp, private and group surf lessons, and youth surf classes. Youth options include After School Thursday Surf Class, Kids Saturday Surf 101, and Teen Surf. The Newport Junior Surf Team meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7am and is not a beginner level class; participants must be able to paddle into waves independently, tread water for 3 minutes, and bring their own surfboard.

• General schedule: Summer camp runs over a 12-week summer season. Weekly camps are open to kids and teens ages 6-17, with morning and afternoon sessions available. Summer camp day schedule includes check-in at 8am, surf time, snack time, lunch for full day campers, and pick-up at 12pm for half day or 3pm for full day.

Newport Surf Camp has been running for over 20 years. It has been voted #1 Kids & Teen Surf Camp in Newport Beach, CA, voted #1 Surf Camp by Parents' Choice for multiple years, and voted #1 surf camp in Orange County. It serves local families from Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Laguna Beach, as well as visitors from all over Southern California.

All enrollments are handled by the City of Newport Beach. No surfing allowed past 12pm city wide. Lessons can be rescheduled with 48 hours notice. No refunds. All lessons need to be with same participant throughout. Lessons cannot be traded.
