Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School Summer Camps offer days that include outdoor water play, hikes in nature, craft-making, cooking together, movement games, songs, daily storytelling, puppet shows, and picnic lunches. Camps run in weekly sessions during summer 2025 and include the option of full-day care within the set camp hours.
• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekly sessions from June 23–August 1, 2025, with six sessions running Monday–Friday (Session 2 runs June 30–July 3 with no camp on July 4)
• Price: $500 per week (15% sibling discount; summer camp tuition is non-refundable)
The 2025 summer camp session dates are: Session 1: June 23–27; Session 2: June 30–July 3 (no camp on the 4th of July); Session 3: July 7–11; Session 4: July 14–18; Session 5: July 21–25; and Session 6: July 28–August 1. Regular camp hours are 8:30am–2:00pm, with morning care from 7:30–8:30am and aftercare from 2:00–5:00pm, and full-day camps including morning care and aftercare run from 7:30am–5:00pm. Families who do not use the full-day option may drop off by 8:30am and pick up after 2:00pm, and tuition is the same regardless of use of morning care and aftercare.
Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School is a bilingual nature-based school for Preschool–8th Grade. The school describes itself as an alternative community devoted to using whole child development methods in a holistic approach to education, with an emphasis on sensory integration and a growth mindset to stimulate the imagination, develop fine and gross motor skills, and executive functioning.
