The program describes itself as an elevated process based art studio that specializes in combining traditional art techniques with contemporary applications and a child initiated, project based learning approach. Its mission is to advocate for children and their creative needs through a rich educational art experience, providing inspiration, technical fine art techniques, and incorporating freedom of authentic self-expression through encouraging instruction, creating leaders one art project at a time. Studio 4 Art offers in-person, virtual, on location, and Do ART! course kits and classes, and provides year-long themed weekly art camps when school is out.

The instructors are described as highly qualified staff and professional artists, and as highly qualified teachers trained in Studio 4 Art’s teaching practices and philosophy who are professional artists themselves. Founder Kebby McInroy holds a BA in Painting from Sonoma State, with a focus on child psychology and early childhood education. Studio 4 Art LLC is now run by her son, Jenson, who is Director of Operations and Incoming Owner, with Jasmin as Lead Instructor in Novato, Isabel as Lead Instructor in San Rafael, Ella as Assistant, and Rachel as Lead Instructor at Marin Pottery.
