About
East Bay United Soccer Club offers soccer for children and young adults. The club includes competitive, recreational, and early childhood soccer programs under different program names within the organization.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
East Bay United Soccer Club was formed in 2011 as a result of the merger between Bay Oaks and Rockridge Soccer clubs. East Bay United’s competitive teams continue to play under the Bay Oaks name. Recreational teams play under the EBU Rec name in the local Jack London Youth Soccer League. Early childhood soccer programs for children in preschool through 2nd grade fall under the EBU Juniors program.
The club promotes soccer as a healthy and enjoyable activity among children and young adults, regardless of race, color, religion or belief, sexual orientation, economic advantage or disability. The club uses a holistic approach to coach both the player and the person through foundational Five Pillars: Community, Integrity, Loyalty, Commitment, and Character. Bay Oaks had been one of the few premier soccer clubs in Northern California to achieve state-wide and national recognition. For decades, Rockridge Soccer Club offered neighborhood recreational and mid-level competitive teams in the Oakland community.
