The Oakland Devo Mountain Biking Club offers activities such as mountain biking, fun rides, and adventure rides. The program is designed for kids to enjoy riding for fun, not competition.
• Ages: 11–14 years old
• Schedule: Returning Riders Fun Ride: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, 10am - 1pm; Parent & Rider In-Person Team Meeting: Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, 1:30 - 3pm; Whole Team Fun Rides: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, 10am - 1pm and Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, 10am - 1pm; First ride of the Season: Saturday, Jan 10, 2026, 10am - 1pm; Last Rides of the Season: May 16 - Adventure Ride Finale TBD and May 23 (Memorial Day weekend) 10am - 1pm

Founded in 2016 by Morgan Fletcher, the club aims to get more kids on bikes, focusing on mountain biking as a safe and fun activity. The program supports a strong and growing mountain bike culture within Oakland’s youth, feeding into competitive high school teams such as Oakland Composite and Oakland Tech. The club also offers loaner bikes and gear to ensure all kids can participate, regardless of income.
