Break Camps includes themed activities such as Sensory Science, Fur & Feathers, Art Exploration, Color Our World, and Spring into Action. The program offers both a Before Spring Break Day Camp and a Spring Break Day Camp that run on the same week and coordinate with each other’s daily schedule.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: Before Spring Break Day Camp and Spring Break Day Camp each run for 5 days during the week of Monday, April 6 – Friday, April 10, 2026
• Price: Before Spring Break Day Camp: $40 total for all 5 days; Spring Break Day Camp: FREE
Since 1994, the Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo County has been opening blue doors to opportunity. The organization’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo County has grown to six Club sites—five elementary schools and one middle school—serving more than 1,000 South County Club Kids, tweens, and teens each year. The Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo County provide safe, affordable, premier enrichment, recreation, and skill-building activity hubs where South County youth can develop to their full potential. A special thank you is given to the Panda Cares Foundation and Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation for supporting out-of-school academic success programs, field-trips, guest speakers and more. The Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo County serves families and mentors youth across South San Luis Obispo County, including the communities of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Nipomo, Oceano, Pismo Beach, and Shell Beach. This year, the organization is honoring Jack and Jayne Smith with the Betsey Kelton Changemaker Award for their dedication to local youth. Online enrollment for Before Spring Break Day Camp opens March 16 at 10:00a and closes March 27 at 4:00p, and online enrollment for Spring Break Day Camp opens March 16 at 10:00a and closes March 25 at 4:00p. Space is limited for Before Spring Break Day Camp and may be limited for Spring Break Day Camp, and early registration is encouraged for both.
