Amplify Arts Project (Girls Rock SB) includes activities such as climbing and flying on a high ropes course, hiking, stargazing, and throwing dance parties. Participants spend time jamming, learning about and creating songs, and producing, filming, and editing a professional music video. The program also includes learning about and creating photography projects and zines.

Amplify Arts Project has been empowering girls through music education, the creative arts, community, and positive mentorship since 2012. Its mission is to empower girls through music education, the creative arts, community, and positive mentorship. The organization is inclusive and dedicated to uplifting and supporting anyone who identifies as a girl, woman, and/or non-binary person, and it provides brave, diverse, and inclusive spaces to youth. Amplify is a registered non-profit organization, and nearly 80% of its budget goes directly to programs every year. The program also offers a youth-run record label and internship program, and AMPLIFY WEEKEND is described as truly one-of-a-kind, with 6th–12th graders choosing from a carefully curated menu of daily activities focused on music, the creative arts, connecting, recharging, chilling, and just feeling good, along with super fun yet safe risk-taking, rewarding peer bonding, and developing grit and resilience.
One participant shared that guest mentors made them realize that no matter who someone is, they can accomplish anything, especially in the male-dominated music industry. A parent described Amplify as one of the best things they ever did for their girls and said their daughter felt truly loved by everyone there. Another parent said their daughter produced, filmed, and edited a professional music video in Ojai and had a blast. A long-time participant said they have been coming for five years and are always astonished by the talent and love in the program. Another testimonial described Amplify as an incredible experience for any girl looking to make new friends, learn new skills, and feel brave and empowered in the summer.
