About
Amplify Arts Project (Girls Rock SB) includes activities such as climbing and flying on the high ropes course, hiking, stargazing, and throwing dance parties. Participants spend time jamming, learning about and creating songs, and producing, filming, and editing a professional music video. The program also includes learning about and creating photography projects and zines.

Amplify Arts Project has been empowering girls through music education, the creative arts, community, and positive mentorship since 2012. Its mission is to empower girls through music education, the creative arts, community, and positive mentorship. The organization is inclusive and is dedicated to uplifting and supporting anyone who identifies as a girl, woman, and/or non-binary person, and it provides brave, diverse, and inclusive spaces to youth. Nearly 80% of the budget goes directly to programs every year, and 6th–12th graders choose from a menu of daily activities focused around music, the creative arts, connecting, recharging, and chilling. The program also offers a youth-run record label and internship program through the SYRYN RECORDS cohort and a sleep away camp experience called AMPLIFY WEEKEND.
Leadership includes Jen, who is listed as a contact at [email protected]. One youth participant shared that guest mentors made them realize that no matter who someone is, they can accomplish anything, especially in the male-dominated music industry. A parent described Amplify as one of the best things they ever did for their girls and said their daughter felt very well taken care of and truly loved by everyone there. Another parent said their daughter had an amazing week in Ojai and that they were impressed she produced, filmed, and edited a professional music video and showcased it at the end of the week. A camper and intern named Esmé said she has been coming to Amplify for five years and that every year she notices the talent and love in the program. Another testimonial described Amplify as an experience for any girl looking to make new friends, learn new skills, and feel brave and empowered in the summer.
