California Magic Soccer Club offers a Competitive Soccer Program and a Community Building Program that include opportunities for participants to take part in referee leadership, management, and education. The program provides a referee certification course with online referee training sessions, field referee training sessions, and the chance to officiate games and sign up to referee Magic games through ASSIGNR.
• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Referee certification includes 7–9 hours of online sessions plus a 3-hour field session; once participants graduate from the course, they can officiate games for the remainder of 2023 and throughout 2024.
• Price: Referee certification registration costs $75 per student; background check fee for students aged 18 years and older is $32, and $150 for students aged 18 years and older from another country.
